Craft
Desolas Mezcal Blanco is made from 100% Salmiana Agave, known as the “Green Giant” for its massive size and low juice yield. Crafted with care, the piñas are cooked in above-ground hornos rather than underground pits, giving our mezcal its naturally low-smoke aroma.
Sun
Desolas is inspired by the sun - its warmth, light, and positivity. Mezcal has long been viewed as a sacred gift of the sun, crafted slowly and with intention. The Salmiana agaves grow under its energy for years, and when they’re ready, you can taste that they’ve been touched by the sun.
Land
Tasting Salmiana shows that mezcal can be herbal, crisp, and fresh. This agave grows in dry, sunny conditions and can take up to 25 years to mature. The arid air and chalky soil of San Luis Potosí give Desolas its distinct herbal, grassy character.
